The United States government has recently created a program that allows Haitians to come to America on a 2-year visa. This is a very unique opportunity we have never had before and may never have again.
Despite the current situation in Haiti, we believe God has opened a doorway to help our Alex’s House students pursue their goals by allowing them to come to America. While here, they can find jobs, attend school, and pursue their dreams. Most importantly, they can renew the hope they lost for a purposeful future in Haiti.
We have 12 young men and women who are interested in this program. To be eligible, they must have Host Families in the U.S. who will provide a home, meals, assist with transportation and provide love, encouragement and guidance. There will be other expenses, including education, medical, transportation to the U.S., clothes, etc. Disciples’ Village is raising money to assist with these expenses.
If you can’t be a Host Family, you can still be a great support by being a Financial supporter. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for each student for the two years of expenses. All donations will be greatly appreciated and will be used to support all 12 of our students in the program.
