Jonathan Elicier's Fundraiser
In the fall of 2018, Jon made his first trip to Haiti for his first mission trip with Disciples’ Village. During this week, the Lord moved in his heart in a special way. The seed to pursue the Lord on the mission field was officially planted. Jon came back in the summer of 2021 (after his trip was cancelled many times) and that seed continued to grow. After this second week of work in Haiti, the Lord answered Jon’s prayers over his calling. Although Jon had graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with aspirations to be a nurse one day, he knew that he was called to follow the Lord and serve others. He was called to Haiti to begin his journey as a missionary sharing the gospel.
Starting in January, Jon will be serving as an associate missionary for Disciples’ Village. Although he will be serving in many different roles, he knows that this is where God has led him to serve. “As I figured out what God was calling me to do, I knew that I wanted to reflect his heart to others by the way that I lived and served others. I want to dedicate my life to the Lord by serving his people who need it the most. Disciples’ Village and this position will allow me to do just that.”
