Trouforban Village

Trouforban is a poor community 35 miles north of Port au Prince on the busy highway of Route National #1.  Pastor Jean Wilzer has faithfully led the community for the last 17 years. Because of his steadfast leadership, their community has always been one of our most stable villages.  But life in Trouforban is getting more and more difficult as hundreds of people have moved into the community fleeing the violence of the gangs.  Their village school is rapidly growing as more and more families are moving into the community.  These new students have been through great stress and need a place to call home.

You can help bring light and hope to these children by becoming a Village School sponsor today. Cost is a little more than a dollar per day – $40 per month – to sponsor a village school, giving the children there a nutritious meal each day and a Christ-centered education.
