JEREMY WEISEL STEPS INTO ROLE AS CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

We are excited to welcome Jeremy Weisel as our new Construction Project Manager at Disciples’ Village!
Jeremy is from Southern Illinois, where he enjoys a full life as a parts and warehouse manager and as a fourth-generation farmer. He farms alongside his dad on a 300-acre farm where they grow wheat, beans, and corn.
His faith journey has deeply shaped who he is. His life was transformed when Pastor Rob Mathis led him to the Lord. Since then, they have continued serving together at Oak Grove Baptist Church, where Jeremy serves as chairman of the deacons.
Jeremy married Rhonda in 1998, and together they have spent years investing in others and walking alongside people through all seasons of life.
One of the first projects they worked on together was building safe homes for girls rescued from trafficking.
Jeremy’s first trip to Haiti was more than 10 years ago, and it left a lasting mark on his heart. Since then, mission trips—especially those focused on disaster relief and building homes for disadvantaged people—have become an important part of his life and calling.
His service has taken him to communities in the United States, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic, where he has had opportunities to use his construction skills to help others.
Jeremy’s heart is to love people well and serve faithfully, wherever God calls him.
“I want others to see God’s love lived out through me by ministering, sharing God’s love, making disciples, and building relationships with others.”
— Jeremy Weisel
Bill Howard, Founder of Disciples’ Village, is looking forward to having Jeremy join the team:
“Adding Jeremy to the team is a real blessing. He leads by example, serves without hesitation, and brings both practical skill and a genuine heart for people. I’m looking forward to what God will do through him.”
— Bill Howard, Founder
Karen Bradshaw, Administrator, has also had the opportunity to serve alongside Jeremy on numerous mission trips:
“Disciples’ Village is blessed to have Jeremy step into the role of Construction Project Manager. I have had the pleasure of serving with Jeremy on numerous mission trips. His construction skills are surpassed only by his love of serving God through serving others.”
— Karen Bradshaw, Administrator
